About Wattspott

We're fixing EV charging in
in India.

Born out of personal range anxiety on a Delhi highway, Wattspott is on a mission to make electric vehicle charging as easy and reliable as searching for a restaurant on Zomato.

Started with a dead battery on NH-48

In 2023, our founder's EV ran out of charge 40 km outside Gurugram — not because charging stations didn't exist, but because three different apps each showed different information, and none matched reality. He waited 2.5 hours for a tow.

That experience became the founding brief: one platform, every charger, real-time availability. No switching apps. No surprises.

India's decentralised charging marketplace

Wattspott aggregates every public charging network and every private charger in India into one real-time map. Drivers find a charger, book a slot, charge, and pay — all inside one app. Charger owners list their idle hardware and earn passive income.

Building at the right time

India has over 5 million EVs on the road and adds hundreds of thousands more every month. The EV-to-charger ratio stands at 1:416 — one of the worst globally. The ₹48,000 crore charging market by 2030 needs a platform that works for both drivers and the millions of idle private chargers that could be part of the network.
